Terms and Conditions for the Construction Products Association Website

This website is owned and operated by the Construction Products Association, a trade association based at The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London, WC1E 7BT.

The following sets out Terms and Conditions that apply to all users of the site. ‘Members’ refers to individuals that work directly for a company that is a member of the Association or a member of a trade association that is itself a member of the Association. ‘Associate’ refers to companies, or individuals that work directly for organisations, that are Associates of the Association. ‘Subscribers’ refers to individuals that are paid subscribers of the Association’s Economic Publications.

Notice to All Users

By using this site you are deemed to have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions. The Construction Products Association reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy , and/or content of the website.

Data Protection

We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998, registration number . Our use of personal information supplied by you is when you use this site is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Site Security

Any attempt to interfere with the site will be considered a breach of the Terms and Conditions with the consequence that your access to the site will be terminated.

User Information, Usernames and Passwords

Some information, such as the economic publications, is only available to members of the Construction Products Association (and members of Trade Associations that are themselves members of the Construction Products Association) or to subscribers of Construction Products Association publications. Usernames and Passwords for members or subscribers are issued by the Construction Products Association, for which you will be required to submit basic information on behalf of your organisation. It is your responsibility to inform us as soon as practicable of any changes to information that you have submitted to the site which renders it inaccurate or misleading, and further details of how to do this are set out in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the security of username/password information that is supplied to you or changed by you. The password must not be disclosed to any unauthorised third parties. You are responsible for all uses of your account or password whether authorised by you or not. You agree to inform us, by e-mail at membership@constructionproducts.org.uk of any unauthorised use of your account as soon as you are aware of any misuse.


You agree and acknowledge that we and our suppliers make no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to:

1) The site and content contained on the site;

2) The quality, suitability or freedom from viruses of the site or any content within the site;

3) You ability to use the site or that it will be available in its current or any other format

We are not responsible or liable for any loss of content or information that you upload/download to/from the site
We will not be responsible or liable for any third party modification, suspension of or discontinuance of the site
We exclude all liability of any kind including for invasion of privacy, defamation, negligence or intellectual property right infringement, for the transmission or reception of information or material of whatever nature by, about or to you
We are not responsible or liable for any loss, including anticipated earnings, or damage incurred from any information downloaded from the site and/or altered. This includes liabilities arising from, or in relation to:

1) Your access, use of or inability to use the site;

2) With any failure of the site, errors, omissions, delays, interruptions, computer viruses or system failures

3) Any content on the site or any action/decisions taken as a result of using the site


The site contains links to other sites that the Construction Products Association believes may be of interest/use to you or your organisation. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for, and have no control over, the content or material of such sites. Any dealings between you, or your organisation, and those third party sites are solely between you, or your organisation, and the third party responsible for that site, and you agree not to hold us liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of such dealings. This provision shall only operate to the extent permitted by the law.


Any notice to be given under these Terms & Conditions by either party shall be deemed to be served within one working day of communication being exchanged between your organisation and the Association.


These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, and construed in, accordance with the laws of England and Wales and all disputes arising in connection with them shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
