The CPA is governed by its board – represented by both its company and trade association members – who direct the policies, priorities and strategic objectives of the Chief Executive, Directors and the teams. The board is comprised of these officers and the Association’s Chief Executive.
Officers serve one year terms and are elected at the annual general meeting each spring. They meet quarterly to oversee the Association’s business.

The Industry Principals Council (“IPC”) and Trade Association Council (“TAC”) are the two main committees of the Association, consisting of the chief executives / managing directors of our 28 company members and 36 trade association members, respectively. They meet quarterly to discuss the Association’s work and to offer input to the board and senior management.
